Meet Ezra! 

And the award for best giggle goes to…Ezra! This caring and silly 1st grader will warm your heart with his charming smile, sweet snuggles and kind nature. Ezra is openly affectionate with those he loves, and he only asks for tickles in return! He has a heart of gold and radiates empathy for those around him; if you’re lucky, he may even share his favorite car with you (spoiler alert: it’s the blue one). In addition to Hot Wheels, Ezra also loves Disney movies, music, going for drives and playing at the park. He’s a daredevil and will make his way to the top of the jungle gym in a flash – he may be a future Special Olympics star athlete!

Ezra spends his days at school where he has excelled with consistent routine and expectations. He’s found his voice and is improving his communication skills every day. When given the choice, you’ll find him in his favorite spot – the sensory bin! While he plays very well independently, Ezra is beginning to enjoy the company of friends. He may request quiet time if the classroom gets too loud, and he also benefits from a weighted vest or blanket when life becomes overwhelming. He does best when transitions are expected and loves to help set timers as a reminder. Social stories have really helped Ezra prepare for new situations, and he has become quite adaptable to new places and experiences!

This is just the beginning of Ezra’s story, and his future is incredibly bright! He will undoubtedly thrive with the consistent and structured support, patience and understanding of a forever family. Those lucky enough to be part of Ezra’s story will be rewarded with a lifetime of endless, unconditional love and compassion, and a soundtrack of infectious giggles.
