Let It Be Us and Youth Service Bureau of Illinois Valley Partner to Recruit Foster Parents

Let It Be Us and Youth Service Bureau have formed a new partnership to recruit and support prospective foster parents in Chicago and throughout Northern Illinois. Collaboration will expand foster parent recruitment throughout Chicago and Northern Illinois, with a focus on finding families for children with the greatest needs.

What This Means for Foster Parents:
Through this collaboration, Let It Be Us will connect individuals and families interested in foster parenting with Youth Service Bureau of Illinois Valley, one of Illinois’ established child welfare agencies. The partnership will include foster parent recruitment events, educational webinars, digital outreach, and personalized assistance for prospective foster families as they begin the licensing process.This new partnership allows Let It Be Us to connect more families with youth in care – especially older children, sibling groups, and those with specialized needs – through tailored support and advocacy.

How to Get Involved:

Prospective foster parents will have opportunities to meet Youth Service Bureau of Illinois Valley caseworkers, learn about the children and youth who need foster homes, understand the licensing process, and receive assistance as they take the next steps toward becoming licensed.
