Each event is also led by Amber Rakoczy, Supervisor of the Let It Be Us Coaching Program and Targeted Recruitment Program, as well as Eileen Gaeta, active foster parent and Board Member of Let It Be us. Each event will be joined by other foster care and adoption experts. We often have surprise guests. These events will be held at Barrington’s White House, Barrington, Illinois, in the Fireplace Room.

Let It Be Us is a 501(c)3 Child Welfare Agency working together with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) as well as all licensing agencies throughout Illinois. Our goal through our recruitment events is to increase the number of licensed foster parents in Illinois and to help children in emergent need and those who are challenging to place find families. Our work helps caseworkers keep children out of shelters and off of office floors at night.
