Three licensing and child placing agencies come together under one roof to help the children in and around Champaign, Illinois needing foster and adoptive parents. Hear from parent recruiters and case workers as well as keynote speaker Nicki Weber who will share her personal story. Whether you are starting your parenting journey, or growing it, there is an urgent need for foster parents and adoptive parents in Illinois. This is an opportunity to learn about the children who are waiting as well as have your questions answered by the experts. You are also able to take your first steps toward licensing at this event.
This parent recruitment event takes place on Saturday, December 9, 9:00am – 12:00pm, at CU Church, 601 West Church Street, Champaign, IL 61820. A breakfast of bagels, fruit and coffee will be served. This is a free event. This informative event that begins at 9:00am and ends at 12:00pm. You are welcome to stay till 1:00pm to talk with individual licensing agencies.
Let It Be Us board members and staff who been foster parents and have also adopted from foster care will be on hand to answer questions. Please register now.

Meet Mary. Mary is 9 years old and has a strong desire to be loved and accepted. Mary enjoys going to school, doing activities with friends, and engaging in sports and camps. After school Mary loves participating in an after school girl’s group. She has been making great strides in school.
