Wednesday’s Children of Illinois is a Let It Be Us publication featuring Illinois children in need of foster and/or adoptive parents. Parents who are interested in learning more are welcome to complete an Inquiry Form for each child.
Twin girls who are about to enter kindergarten. They enjoy swimming, playing outside, singing, riding bikes, tv, coloring and drawing. To learn more please complete this Inquiry Form.
A girl who just finished 1st grade and is deaf. She does not know sign language, so parents who can teach her American Sign Language are preferred. To learn more please complete this Inquiry Form.
A girl who is about to enter a boarding high school and is deaf. She needs a family during school holidays and breaks. She enjoys sports and is a good student. Single mothers are welcome to apply. To learn more please complete this Inquiry Form.
A girl who is 1/2 way through high school, is transgender, and needs parents who are accepting. She is also in need of parents who will champion her through school. Single parents, married couples, and same gender couples are welcome. To learn more please complete this Inquiry Form.
Wednesday’s Children is a Let It Be Us publication featuring Illinois children in need of foster and/or adoptive parents. This child specific recruitment program is utilized to heighten awareness about the need for parents through foster care and adoption and to improve the lives of children in foster care by helping them find loving and safe homes. Identifying information or photographs are not used in the Wednesday’s Children of Illinois publication.
