Wednesday’s Children of Illinois is a Let It Be Us publication featuring Illinois children in need of foster and/or adoptive parents. Parents who are interested in learning more are welcome to complete an Inquiry Form for each child.
A 10th grader who is pregnant and needs a lot of care. She is currently in a shelter. A Chicago location is our first choice, and other parents throughout Illinois are welcome to apply as the need is great. Parents of all types are welcome to apply via our Inquiry Form.
Two little brothers, ages 3 years and 4 months, are in need of parents in Chicago. Must be able to speak Spanish very well. To learn more please complete this Inquiry Form.
A profoundly deaf girl who is a freshman at a very special Illinois school for deaf children. The only alternative for her at this point is a group home and we are hoping to find a family for her. This is a boarding school and parents are needed for holidays and vacations when the school is closed. There is no cost. She likes sports of all kinds, especially volleyball and basketball. Parents of all types are welcome to apply via our Inquiry Form.
A 9 year old girl who is sweet and funny, likes gymnastics and likes to ride her bike. She needs a stable and committed family as she has had a lot of heart breaks in her life. The Northern Region of Illinois is preferred. To learn more please complete this Inquiry Form.

A girl who has graduated from high school and likes to cook and watch movies. She also likes to paint her nails and fix her hair different ways. Wednesday’s Children is a Let It Be Us publication featuring Illinois children in need of foster and/or adoptive parents. This child specific recruitment program is utilized to heighten awareness about the need for parents through foster care and adoption and to improve the lives of children in foster care by helping them find loving and safe homes. Identifying information or photographs are not used in the Wednesday’s Children of Illinois publication.
