Wednesday’s Children of Illinois is a Let It Be Us publication featuring Illinois children in need of foster and/or adoptive parents. Parents who are interested in learning more are welcome to complete an Inquiry Form for each child.
A 16 year old girl in immediate need of respite and following that a possible adoption or long term foster care. Parents of all types (single mothers are especially welcome) from the Chicago and surrounding areas are welcome to apply via our Inquiry Form.
EMERGENCY: A boy who is a college freshman in need of a home over the holidays until December 22 only. He is a great student, is honest, and self sufficient. A location near public transportation or the train line would be great. All parents from the Chicago and surrounding area are welcome to complete this Inquiry Form.
Two little girls ages 1-1/2 and 7, sisters, in immediate need of parents and a pre-adoptive home. Parents of any types from Chicago or throughout the State of Illinois are welcome to apply via our Inquiry Form.
A 16 year old boy – a please for respite – in need of a family where he can get a lot of attention. He likes sports, he is a good student, and he is very helpful. Parents of all types are welcome to apply, especially single fathers, via our Inquiry Form.
A 16 year old girl who has an amazing sense of humor. Parents of all types from the Chicago and surrounding area are welcome to apply via our Inquiry Form.

Wednesday’s Children is a Let It Be Us publication featuring Illinois children in need of foster and/or adoptive parents. This child specific recruitment program is utilized to heighten awareness about the need for parents through foster care and adoption and to improve the lives of children in foster care by helping them find loving and safe homes. Identifying information or photographs are not used in the Wednesday’s Children of Illinois publication. There is no cost to adopt through foster care, all expenses are paid.
