Wednesday’s Children of Illinois is a Let It Be Us publication featuring Illinois children in need of foster and/or adoptive parents. Parents who are interested in learning more are welcome to complete an Inquiry Form for each child.
A 10 year old boy whose caseworker says likes everything a 10 year old likes, puzzles, games, and family fun. Parents of all types from the Springfield area are welcome to inquire via our Inquiry Form.
A 9 year old boy who is talkative, playful, and a picky eater, although he is learning to eat new types of food and is enjoying this. He likes friends, makes friends easily, and he does really well in school. All parents who are interested in championing this child are welcome to complete this Inquiry Form.
A 15 year old boy who is medically complex, intelligent, gets along with others, and enjoys using public transportation. The only thing that has slowed him down is his past. He’s been joined by a team of excellent Chicago doctors and now all he needs are excellent parents. All parents who are interested in championing this child are welcome to complete this Inquiry Form.
A 17 year old girl who is an excellent student and has excellent school attendance. Taking school seriously she loves to read and write poetry. Parents of all types from Chicago or the South Suburbs are welcome to apply via our Inquiry Form.
A 16 year old girl who is a junior in high school and can live anywhere but the preference is for the Palatine or Crystal Lake Area. She has a goal of independence and will not be returning home. She appreciates art, music, and loves to play games. All parents are welcome to learn more by completing our Inquiry Form.

Wednesday’s Children is a Let It Be Us publication featuring Illinois children in need of foster and/or adoptive parents. This child specific recruitment program is utilized to heighten awareness about the need for parents through foster care and adoption and to improve the lives of children in foster care by helping them find loving and safe homes. Identifying information or photographs are not used in the Wednesday’s Children of Illinois publication. There is no cost to adopt through foster care, all expenses are paid.
