Wednesday’s Children of Illinois is a Let It Be Us publication featuring Illinois children in need of foster and/or adoptive parents. Parents who are interested in learning more are welcome to complete an Inquiry Form for each child.
A 16 year old boy who likes drawing, writing and his favorite subject is math. He loves sports. When he grows up he wants to be a lawyer or play in the NBA. He is goofy and funny, although shy at first. Most of all, he wants to be part of a family and be loved unconditionally. All parents from all communities and locations in Illinois are welcome to complete our Inquiry Form.
A 16 year old boy who is an exceptional student and attends one of the elite high schools in Chicago. He is profoundly deaf and needs parents who can speak American Sign Language (ASL). Parents from all communities in and near Chicago are welcome to complete our Inquiry Form.
Siblings, a 9 year old girl and a 4 year old boy who like school. She is artistic and he likes basketball and sports. If a home cannot be found where they can be together the caseworker will consider separating them. All parents in McHenry and Lake Counties are welcome to complete our Inquiry Form.
A 9 year old boy who is talkative, playful and picky eater. He makes friends easily. All parents in Chicago and the northern region are welcome to complete our Inquiry Form.
A 15 year old girl who has a 7 month old baby boy. She is a freshman in high school, does well in school, and is responsible and respectful. All parents in Chicago are welcome to complete our Inquiry Form.
A 12 year old boy who loves legos, games, and horses. He’s flexible and has a great personality. He’s going to do best with older siblings as models. All parents in the Northern Region of Illinois are welcome to complete our Inquiry Form.
A 17 year old girl who is a junior in high school and loves technology and cosmetology. Parents in the Wheeling, Illinois and around areas who are single mothers or a same gender couple are welcome to apply via our Inquiry Form.
