Wednesday’s Children of Illinois is a Let It Be Us publication featuring Illinois children in need of foster and/or adoptive parents. Let It Be Us is a nonprofit child welfare agency that recruits foster and adoptive parents. Parents who are interested in learning more are welcome to complete an Inquiry Form for each child.
An 18 year old boy is looking for a home while he’s back from college this summer. All parents from the Chicago suburbs are welcome to complete our Inquiry Form.
A 15 year old boy, who loves basketball, is thoughtful and intelligent. He is considerate to other children and would love to be part of a loving family. All parents from Lake County and surrounding areas are welcome to complete our Inquiry Form.
A 13 year old girl, who loves reading, science, and she just got accepted to the Chicago Vocational High School. She wants to be part of a family more than anything. All parents from Chicago are welcome to complete our Inquiry Form.
A 16 year old girl, who will be a junior in high school next year. She has a great part-time job and does well in school. All parents in Wheaton, Illinois and the surroundin area are welcome to complete our Inquiry Form.
A 16 year old boy who is an exceptional student and attends one of the elite high schools in Chicago. He is profoundly deaf and needs parents who can speak American Sign Language (ASL). Parents from all communities in and near Chicago are welcome to complete our Inquiry Form.
Siblings, a 9 year old girl and a 4 year old boy who like school. She is artistic and he likes basketball and sports. If a home cannot be found where they can be together the caseworker will consider separating them. All parents in McHenry and Lake Counties are welcome to complete our Inquiry Form.
