Wednesday’s Children of Illinois is a Let It Be Us publication featuring Illinois children in need of foster and/or adoptive parents. Parents who are interested in learning more are welcome to complete an Inquiry Form for each child.
A 15 year old girl who has a lot of academic potential, is well-behaved, loves practicing the piano, swimming, and tending to horses. Two parent families or a single father – living in an area with access to horses – are welcome to learn more here. (This child is seeking an adoptive home.)
A 12 year old boy who likes riding bikes, swimming, drawing, and playing hockey. He also loves legos, puzzles and rubik’s cube. He wants a family “that will love me” and wants to be able to maintain contact with his siblings. Parents of all types are welcome, especially those who have a lot of time to spend with this child. A 10 year old boy who is autistic. He uses a tablet for communication. He needs a parent or parents who can devote a lot of time to him to help him catch up. Parents of all types are welcome. To learn more please complete this Inquiry Form. (This child may be seeking an adoptive home.)
An 11 year old girl whose favorite class is math and would love to join a gymnastics team. She is creative and imaginative and loves board games like Candyland and Checkers. She dreams of finding a family who will have a game night when everyone can play together. She would also love to have a dog and a goldfish. Parents of all types of welcome to learn more here. Wednesday’s Children is a Let It Be Us publication featuring Illinois children in need of foster and/or adoptive parents. This child specific recruitment program is utilized to heighten awareness about the need for parents through foster care and adoption and to improve the lives of children in foster care by helping them find loving and safe homes. Identifying information or photographs are not used in the Wednesday’s Children of Illinois publication. There is no cost to adopt through foster care, all expenses are paid.
