Charlie

12 Years Old

Meet Charlie!

Charlie is a 12-year-old boy who enjoys being active and spending time outdoors. He loves hiking, camping, and playing sports. Basketball is his favorite sport so it’s no surprise that he’s a big fan of the Chicago Bulls, although his favorite player is Ja Morant. Charlie also loves winter, especially snow days, and he has a soft spot for dogs.

When he is indoors, Charlie enjoys relaxing with video games or watching movies and TV shows. Action movies and police shows are his favorites. He especially enjoys Die Hard and Hawaii Five-O. If you ask Charlie to design his perfect day, it would start with adopting a dog, followed by pancakes with peanut butter and syrup. Then he would go for a fun car ride, enjoy fried chicken and a big Oreo McFlurry, meet up with friends to play basketball, and, after a full day, happily head to bed.

Charlie is a sweet, smart, and caring young man. He is open to meeting new people and is thoughtful and helpful to those around him. He always gives others a chance and embraces the opportunity to learn and grow when mistakes happen.

Charlie would thrive in a family that understands trauma and helps him feel safe, supported, and cared for. He would benefit from a patient, loving, and consistent family that takes the time to talk things through with him, offer reassurance, and stay active with him. Charlie has great potential and a bright future ahead!
