Let It Be Us offers a series of virtual and in-person educational events on topics surrounding Foster Care and Adoption in the State of Illinois.

Could you be the safe place a child needs – right now?

If you’ve ever felt a pull to help a child in need but weren’t sure where to start, this evening is for you. Join Let It Be Us and Lutheran Social Services of Illinois for an informative and welcoming conversation about becoming a foster parent. We are currently seeking compassionate individuals and families interested in both traditional and therapeutic foster care – there is a real and urgent need in our community.

This is a relaxed, no-pressure opportunity to learn what foster care really looks like, ask questions in a supportive setting, and explore whether fostering could be the right fit for your family. This event will be held at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois office – 308 West State Street, Suite 250, Rockford, IL 61101. If you live in Rockford, Rockton, Loves Park, and surrounding areas, you are encouraged to join us.

You don’t have to have all the answers -just a willingness to learn and an open heart.
