Learn About Managing Placement Transitions with Let It Be Us

Transitions are a stressful and unavoidable part of foster care and adoption. Join Let It Be Us and Erin Janssens, Adoption Recruiter and Training Coordinator for the Adoption Listing Service of Illinois at Let It Be Us, for an NTDC-based webinar regarding transitions. This 1 hour webinar will provide an overview of the impact that transitions, both planned and unplanned, have on children who have experienced trauma. We will discuss useful strategies for parents to make these transitions less traumatic and disruptive. Ideas for making children feel welcomed and connected before, during, and after transitions occur will also be shared. This event is for licensed foster parents.
