Fostering and Adopting Youth with Diverse Medical Needs with Let It Be Us

Let It Be Us offers a series of virtual educational events on topics surrounding Foster Care and Adoption in the State of Illinois.

Interested in learning about fostering and adopting youth with diverse medical needs?

Join Let It Be Us Tuesday, July 8 at 12:00 PM for our webinar Fostering and Adopting Youth with Diverse Medical Needs. Children with varied medical and developmental abilities are over-represented in child welfare. This webinar will include a panel of parents who have fostered and/or adopted youth with diverse medical needs, and will also feature Dr. Margaret Scotellaro, Medical Director of Department of Children and Family Services. We will provide an overview of the strengths and needs of this population and will identify supports that are available to foster/adoptive parents. 1 credit hour will be offered to licensed foster parents who attend.
