Foster Friendly Business Certification Campaign
Recognizing businesses in Barrington, Illinois who support children in foster care through services and outward support.
Let It Be Us, a 501(c)3 nonprofit located in Barrington, Illinois, supports children in foster care and those adopted through foster care. LIBU received a grant from the Barrington Area Community Foundation for the Foster Friendly Business Certification Campaign, which recognizes those who support children in foster care through services and outward support.
To be certified as a Foster Friendly Business, you must meet the program requirements. The requirements are different for each business and will be laid out by your Let It Be Us liaison. Benefits of being a Foster Friendly Certified Business
Digital Marketing
Your business will be marketed in all Let It Be Us program outreach, including but not limited to, LIBU & grant website, social media, e-blasts, and all media support.
Certification
Each business will receive a digital “Foster Friendly” badge for their website and a physical “Foster Friendly” window sticker to indicate their certification.
Community Recognition
Each business will be recognized in the Quintessential Barrington grant article, Barrington Area Community Foundation grant, and Let It Be Us marketing.

The Barrington Area Community Foundation provides funding for the betterment of the community.
