Closing Out 2022 National Adoption Month with a Look Back at Humans of Adoption Series
Our vision at Let It Be Us is permanency for every child. Permanency is a technical term used in child welfare, but to us it means connection. Relationships that are consistent, nurturing and supportive, relationships that make children feel safe and loved.
While adoption may be one way to provide these stabilizing relationships for children in foster care, there are other ways also. Fostering without adoption can provide the critical stability a child needs. Ensuring a child can stay with his or her siblings can provide stability.
As we close out National Adoption Month 2022, we invite you to continuing learning about the importance of many kinds of stable relationships in the life of a child in foster care. Here are the stories we featured in 2020 in our Humans of Adoption blog series.
