Let It Be Us has teamed up with Actovos to help foster care caseworkers make faster child placement

The Let It Be Us Placement Support Program works daily to locate foster homes available for children, including those in emergent need and those who are challenging to place.  By adding the new Actovos texting technology to its Placement Support Program, Let It Be Us can communicate immediately with licensed and open foster homes listed in its proprietary database, locating appropriate child foster homes so that child placement is expedited.

Foster care caseworkers and children benefit from the accelerated child placement, keeping children from shelters, and increasing their opportunities for permanency. The increased speed that texting technology brings to the Placement Support Program helps solve one of the biggest problems that foster care caseworkers currently face.

All licensed foster homes registered with Let It Be Us should be prepared for this service to begin and should anticipate introductory texts with instructions.  Opting out is a clearly marked option while opting in requires no action.  The texts will be identified as Let It Be Us. Our Foster Care Placement Support Program works with foster care caseworkers, investigators, and licensed foster parents to connect licensed foster homes with waiting children in foster care. We have a database of licensed and open homes and also reach additional foster homes available through social media. By joining the Let It Be Us registry of licensed and open homes, as well as following us on social media and via email, you will learn about agencies looking for licensed foster homes that meet the needs of the child or children the agency is trying to place. Let It Be Us strives to create better outcomes for children in foster care, to improve stability and permanency, and to keep children safe and out of shelters.”
