At Let It Be Us, we believe that meaningful change happens when people come together with a shared purpose. That’s why we’re excited to be in partnership with The Children’s Home an organization that shares our deep commitment to supporting children and strengthening families.

Together, we are working to recruit and support compassionate individuals and families across Central Illinois who are ready to open their homes and hearts to children in need of foster care.

The need for licensed foster parents in Central Illinois continues to grow. Every day, children enter the foster care system through no fault of their own, often during times of uncertainty and crisis. What they need most is stability, care, and someone willing to show up for them. Through this partnership, we are focused on identifying and guiding individuals who feel called to make a difference but may not know where to begin.

Let It Be Us plays an active role in outreach and recruitment connecting with community members, hosting informational events, and walking alongside prospective foster parents through the early stages of the process. The Children’s Home brings decades of experience in licensing, training, and supporting foster families, ensuring that those who step forward are well-prepared and never alone on their journey.

This collaboration allows us to combine our strengths in a way that expands impact. By working together, we can reach more people, provide clearer pathways to becoming licensed, and ultimately create safer, nurturing homes for children across the region.

Becoming a foster parent is a meaningful commitment, but it’s one that comes with guidance, training, and ongoing support. Whether someone is just beginning to explore the idea or is ready to take the next step, we’re here to help answer questions and provide direction.
