Become a Family to a Teen in Foster Care

Let It Be Us offers a series of virtual education events on topics surrounding Foster Care and Adoption in the State of Illinois. Our Foster Care 102 events are considered a deeper dive – for an introductory event, consider attending our Foster Care 101 events.
During our 90-minute event, a Let It Be Us Foster Care Expert and a Seasoned Foster Parent will discuss fostering teens, the joys and the challenges, as well as the importance of supporting teens in care and ensuring they have support even after they leave the DCFS system. You will also learn about the role that Let It Be Us plays including how to join our Licensing Support, Placement Support & Springboard to Adulthood programs.
