The Arboretum of South Barrington’s 9th Annual Uncorked Event will benefit Let It Be Us and the nonprofit’s mission of adoption and education of children in Illinois foster care. This year’s wine and food festival is celebrated between 5:30 – 9:00pm on Tuesday, July 25th. Tickets are now available on line.
Eight of the Arboretum’s signature restaurants will be included; Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Georgio’s Chicago Pizzeria & Pub, Incontro A Tavola, iPic Theaters, MAGO Grill & Cantina, Pinstripes, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, and Wok’ N Fire. Each restaurant will feature a fine selection of wine and artisan crafted appetizers. There will be live entertainment in addition to give aways and special coupons for exclusive retailers.
Jennifer McAndrews, Board Chair of Let It Be Us and Chair of the nonprofit’s Fundraising Committee, is excited about this opportunity to increase awareness about the dire needs of children in the Illinois foster care system. “It’s an honor to be chosen as this years recipient for Uncorked at the Arboretum., which is sponsored by Toll Brothers, America’s Luxury Home Builder, for the 2nd year in a row. We are so appreciative to be able to reach this special audience at this very special event. At Let It Be Us, we feel everyone would agree that EVERY child deserves a home and a family. We are working hard to make a difference and to make sure all children enjoy the benefits of belonging in a family. Please come on July 25th to see and hear what Let It Be Us is all about and how anyone can help!”
This Uncorked Event takes place at the Arboretum of South Barrington, 100 West Higgins Road in South Barrington, Illinois. Tickets are $30 and are available here.
