Let It Be Us is in search of parents for waiting children and while we expect more and more children in the coming weeks, please read about this little girl and share this search far and wide. Subscribe to our blog (upper right side of this page) to be the first to receive information on waiting children.
Now, meet Marie …
Marie has experienced multiple transitions in her short life and she needs a parent who will help her catch up. She needs more assistance than most children her age with things like getting dressed and brushing her teeth. Above all, she needs a parent who will patiently spend time with her. She enjoys art, dance and music.
Marie has two older sisters who she enjoys visiting. When they are together they spend time coloring, listening to music, dancing, and playing board games. She would do best in a family with older siblings, where she is the youngest, or she is the only child. Ongoing support to visit her sisters is important for Marie.
Given her needs, Marie will do best with a parent who has experience with caring for special needs children; and has a strong support system. We are looking for a home in Chicago, Cook County, Lake County, or the Northern Illinois region.
Marie has the goal of adoption. If you are interested in learning more, please complete this Inquiry Form.
